The schedule for the third phase of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) has been released by the Delhi University. The window to make corrections to the application form or make changes to the choice filling form will open on October 12, 2022.
DU Admission 2022: The Delhi University (DU) has released the schedule for the third phase of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). As per the information available on the schedule, the final merit list will be issued on the official website, ugadmission.uod.ac.in, on October 18, 2022.
Apart from this, the university has also informed through its latest notification that the deadline for Phase 1 and Phase 2 has been extended to 4:59 pm on October 12, 2022. Phase 1 consists of the registration process, whereas Phase 2 consists of locking the preferences for courses and colleges. The application and choice filling forms are available on the official website.
On October 11, 2022, the university will open the window to make corrections to the application form or make changes to the choice filling form. The portal will open at 4:59 on October 11, 2022 and will close on October 12, 2022.
As per the information mentioned in the official notification, it is a one-time facility for OBC-NCL, EWS, SC, ST, Minority, PwBD, and CW category candidates to re-upload their updated documents and certificates. Candidates who won’t be able to upload their documents/submit the application/fill in the choice filling form within the given deadline won’t be considered for the admission process.
According to the guidelines released, the university will declare three rounds of allocation-cum-admission rounds and spot admission rounds on the basis of the number of seats available. DU will issue a "Simulated List" on October 14, 2022, before announcing the first round of CSAS. Through this list, candidates will be able to determine their possibility of getting admission to their preferred course. Later, they will be provided two more days to rearrange their preferences.
Candidates will get time from October 19, 2022 to October 21, 2022 to accept the seats that have been allotted to them. The college verification and online application approval window will open on October 19, 2022 and will close on October 22, 2022.
The deadline to make the fee payment is October 24, 2022. The data on vacant seats will be displayed on October 25, 2022. Later, on October 25, 2022, the portal to rearrange the high preferences will open. Candidates will get time till October 27, 2022, to rearrange the list.
On October 30, 2022, the university will declare the Second CSAS Allocation List. Candidates will get time from October 31, 2022, to November 1, 2022. The window to verify the college and approve the online applications will open on October 31, 2022, and will close on November 02, 2022. Shortlisted candidates from CSAS round 2 will get time till November 03, 2022, to pay the admission fees.
DU will display the data on the vacant list on November 4, 2022. The mid-entry portal and window to re-order higher preferences will open on November 7, 2022. After this, the university will declare the third CSAS allocation list on November 10, 2022. Candidates will get time till November 13, 2022, to accept the seat allotted.
The window to verify the college and approve the applications will open on November 11, 2022 and will remain open till November 14, 2022. The deadline to submit the admission fees is November 15, 2022. Two days later, i.e., November 17, 2022, the university will announce the first spot allocation round for vacant seats.
The portal to apply for the spot allocation round will open on November 18, 2022 and will remain active till November 19, 2022. The First Spot Allocation List will be declared on November 22, 2022. Candidates will be required to accept the allocated seats between November 13, 2022 and November 24, 2022.
The portal to verify the colleges and approve the online verification will be active from November 23, 2022, till November 25, 2022. Candidates will have to make the fee payment by November 26, 2022.
As per the information mentioned in the official notification, there are an ample number of seats for SC and ST category candidates. In the first round of seat allocation, the university will be allocating 30% extra seats for the SC/ST category candidates.
