HSSC TGT recruitment 2022 registrations to begin from Oct 5; details of socioeconomic criteria

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission(HSSC) will start the online applications for HSSC TGT recruitment 2022 on 5 October 2022. The deadline for application submission is on 26 October 2022, whereas fee submission can be done till 28 October 2022. Candidates can visit the official website of HSSC, hssc.gov.in to apply online.

The HSSSC will be hiring over 7471 Trained Graduate Teachers(TGT) for Group -C services. The vacancies are for TGT English, TGT Home Science, TGT Music, TGT Physical Education, TGT Arts, TGT Sanskrit, TGT Science, and TGT Urdu.

The selection will be done on the basis of marks scored in the Written Examination, Socioeconomic criteria, and experience, each carrying 95% and 5% weightage respectively.

Eligibility criteria for HSSC TGT recruitment 2022

Candidates have to fulfil the following eligibility criteria before applying for TGT posts:

  1. Candidates must have passed class10th with Sanskrit or Hindi as one of the main subjects.
  2. Candidates must have qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) or School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) with the respective subject for which he/she wishes to apply for TGT.
  3. Candidates' age must not be less than 18 years or greater than 42 years of age.

Apart from these criteria, candidates also need to fulfill other eligibility criteria for individual posts. For detailed criteria for each post, candidates must refer to the official notification published on the official website.

Details of socio-economic criteria on the basis of which marks will be awarded for HSSC TGT recruitment

For socio-economic criteria, marks will be awarded on the following basis:

  1. Candidates who are bonafide residents of Haryana will be awarded 5% marks provided he/she or any of his/her family members are not employed or in the past have been employed in Department/ Commission / Board / Company / Corporation/ StatutoryBody/ Authority of Haryana Government or any other State Government or Central Government.
  2. The gross annual income of the family including all the sources of income shouldn’t exceed Rs 180000.
