The recruitment of JBT/PRT, TGT, and PGTs will be done across schools in Haryana. HTET 2022 exam dates

The Directorate of Public Relations (DPR), Haryana on its Twitter handle has announced that the HTET 2022 exam will be held on 12 and 13 November 2022. The registration dates for the exam will be announced soon by the Board of Secondary Education, Haryana.

The HTET 2022 exam is conducted for the recruitment of PRT (Primary Teacher) or JBT(Junior Basic Training), TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher), and PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) into schools and colleges across Haryana.

Eligibility criteria for HTET 2022

Candidates have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria in order to appear in HTET 2022 Exam:

  1. For PRT/JBT posts: Candidates must have passed 12th with 50% marks or must have done graduation. Also, the candidates who have passed or are to appear in the final exam of D.Ed/JBT/B.El.Ed can also apply.
  2. For TGT posts: Candidates must be a graduate in a concerned subject and must have passed B.Ed/B.El.Ed or 12th.
  3. For PGT posts: Candidates must have passed B.Ed and must be a postgraduate with 50% marks.

Exam pattern and scheme of HTET 2022

For PRT/JBT

The duration of the exam will be two hours and thirty minutes. The subjects from which the questions will be asked are Child Development and Pedagogy, Languages (Hindi, English), General Studies (Maths, Reasoning, Haryana GK), Maths, and EVS. A total of 30 questions will be asked from each subject and each question will carry one mark.

For PGT/TGT

The duration of the exam will be two hours and thirty minutes. The subjects from which the questions will be asked are Child Development and Pedagogy, Languages (Hindi, English), General Studies (Maths, Reasoning, Haryana GK), and Concerned subjects. A total of 60 questions and 30 questions will be asked from the concerned subject and other subjects respectively.
