The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline to apply for the July cycle of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

IGNOU Admission 2022: As per the latest notification released by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), the deadline to submit the application forms for the IGNOU July 2022 session has been extended.

According to the information mentioned in the notification, the new deadline to submit the forms is October 31,2022. The registration process is being conducted to offer admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

The university has stopped accepting applications for its certificate and semester-based programmes for the July 2022 session. Candidates can find the application forms on the official website, ignou.ac.in.

Looking back at the news which came out earlier this month, it has come to notice that the last date to apply for the July admission 2022 has been extended multiple times by now. Earlier, the deadline to apply for admission was October 21, 2022, which was then changed to October 27, 2022, and now the open university has yet again extended it to October 31, 2022.

Candidates must note that to apply for the IGNOU UG and PG programmes through online mode, they need to upload scanned copies of the documents mentioned below:

  • passport-sized photograph,
  • Signature
  • Proof of age
  • educational qualification certificate.
  • Experience certificate
  • If applicable, a category certificate
  • BPL certificate (if any)

How to register for the IGNOU July 2022 Session?

Candidates can refer to the instructions outlined below in order to apply for admission.

  1. To apply for admission, candidates need to visit the official websites—ignou.samarth.edu.in or ignou.ac.in.
  2. On the homepage, click on the relevant IGNOU July 2022 Session ODL registration link.
  3. Carefully read all the instructions and then click on the new link for registration.
  4. Key in the basic details, select the preferred course, and then generate the login details.
  5. Mention all the required information in the registration form.
  6. Cross-check all the information provided and then pay the application fee.
  7. Download the application confirmation page and take a printout for further reference.
