IGNOU releases application forms for Student Innovation Award; Registration portal to close on 15 Oct, 2022

The Indira Gandhi National Open University, IGNOU has released the application forms for the Student Innovation Award. The top 3 winners will receive certificates, trophies, and cash prizes worth Rs. 10,000/-, Rs. 7,000/-, and Rs. 5,000, depending on the position that they have secured.

IGNOU: The Indira Gandhi National Open University, IGNOU, has started inviting applications for the Student Innovation Award. According to the information available on the official notice, the deadline to submit the entries is October 15, 2022. Interested candidates can visit the official website, ignou.ac.in, or email at ncide@ignou.ac.in, to apply for the award.

Students who are currently enrolled at IGNOU and have developed and implemented an innovative product, process, or service as a solution to a problem or challenge faced by an individual or society in any field are eligible to compete for the Student Innovation Award.

Candidates with the best three solutions will not only win the honorary Student Innovation Award. They will also receive certificates, trophies, and cash prizes worth Rs. 10,000/-, Rs. 7,000/-, and Rs. 5,000, depending on the position that they have secured. Along with this, the potential innovators will get the opportunity to meet other innovators and get to know about their experiences.

Candidates whose applications will be shortlisted will have to give a presentation explaining their innovation, its working, different processes involved in it and various other details like these. The shortlisted candidates will receive an individual message. The same information will also be released on the official website of IGNOU.
