IGNOU Student Innovation Award 2022 application forms released; Top three innovators to win cash prizes

Indira Gandhi National Open University's (IGNOU) has released the application forms for IGNOU Student Innovation Award 2022. Interested candidates have time till September 30, 2022 to apply. How to apply for the IGNOU Student Innovation Award 2022?

  1. The Student Innovation Award 2022 application form is available on the official IGNOU website at ignou.ac.in.
  2. Download the application form, which will be available under the "announcement and notifications" tab on the homepage.
  3. Candidates need to submit the application in MS-Word format along with the supporting documents at ncide@ignou.ac.in.
  4. Along with that, candidates also need to send an enclosed 5–10 minute video clip which should provide information on the development and working of the solution and some relevant photographs of it.
According to the trend followed in the past years, this year's top three innovators will also be awarded on the university’s foundation day. The shortlisted candidates will be awarded with certificates, trophies and cash prizes of Rs 10,000, Rs 7000, and Rs 5000, respectively. They will also get an opportunity to meet other innovators and learn about their solutions as well as experience. Candidates basically have to come up with a process, product, or service that can work as a solution to the problem that is being faced by society in a particular area (better if candidates choose a given theme area). The solution should be real and should have been implemented before. Candidates are advised to check the prescribed format before submitting their application.
