The online registration for the IIT JAM 2023 has been released, the online registration starts on 7 September 2022 and ends on 11 October 2022. The conducting authority for IIT JAM 2023 is IIT Guwahati. Candidates can visit the official website, jam.iitg.ac.in for registering online. The candidate portal for IIT JAM 2023 will be active from 7 September 2022.
The exam will be held on 12 February 2023, in online mode. The type of questions asked in the examination will be Multiple Choice Questions(MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions. The results of the IIT JAM 2023 will be declared on 22 March 2023, and the online admission process will start on 11 April 2023.
IIT JAM 2023 will be conducted in seven subjects namely Chemistry (CY), Biotechnology (BT), Geology (GG), Economics (EN), Mathematical Statistics (MS), Physics (PH), and Mathematics (MA).
This exam is conducted for admission into various PG programmes in different IITs.The IIT JAM 2023 score will also be accepted by NITs, DIAT, IISc, IISER, IIEST, IIPE, JNCASR, and SLIET.
Eligibility criteria for appearing in IIT JAM 2023
- Candidates must have passed his/her bachelor’s degree or shall be in the final year of their bachelor’s degree.
- Foreign candidates having their bachelor’s degrees from Indian universities, are also eligible to apply.
