JAM 2023 registration forms to release on September 7, 2022. The examination has been scheduled to take place on February 12, 2023. JAM 2023 registration JAM 2023 registration: The Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati will release the application forms for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM 2023) on September 7, 2022. Interested candidates can visit the official website, jam.iitg.ac.in, to submit their application forms once the application forms are released. According to the schedule released, the last date to apply for the examination is October 11, 2022, and the examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 12, 2023. The institute is expected to release the results by March 2023. The guidelines released state that female candidates and candidates who belong to scheduled tribes (ST) or have some disability have to pay an application fee of Rs 900 and Rs 1,250 in case they want to appear for two tests. For others, the application fee is Rs 1,800 for one paper and Rs 2,500 for two test papers.

What are the eligibility criteria for JAM 2023 registration?

  • Candidates should hold an undergraduate degree or be in their final year of undergraduate study.
  • Candidates who hold a degree need to provide their marksheet.
  • Candidates who are in their final year need to submit a certificate that states that they have studied in that semester. The certificate should be signed by the head of the institute.
  • Foreign candidates with Indian degrees are also permitted to apply, but admission will be based on the policy of the institute to which they will be admitted.
  • Candidates need to submit a fitness certificate, which should be signed by a registered medical practitioner. There might be a situation where they will have to go through a physical fitness test, which will be conducted by the medical board of the admitting institute.

JAM 2023 Registration: How to Apply?

  1. The application will be issued at IIT JAM's official website, jam.iitg.ac.in.
  2. Click on the link that reads “JAM 2023.” It will be available on the homepage.
  3. Key in all the login credentials and register.
  4. Feed in all the details properly.
  5. Pay the application fees and then click on submit
  6. Download the application form and take a printout for further reference.
The computer-based test will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.The examination will be conducted in the 7 following subjects:
  • Biotechnology (BT)
  • Chemistry (CY)
  • Economics (EN)
  • Geology (GG)
  • Mathematical Statistics (MS)
  • Mathematics (MA)
  • Physics (PH)
