JEE Advanced 2022 results declared; Seat allotment to begin from Sept 12, 2022

The Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Advanced result for the academic year 2022-2023 has been declared by the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. 1,567 IIT seats out of a total of 16,598 have been reserved for women candidates.  JEE Advanced 2022 JEE Advanced 2022 result: The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay has released results for the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Advanced. This year a total of 1,566,089 candidates appeared for the JEE Advanced 2022 examination to get admission to different IITs and NITs located across the country. Applicants can visit the official website of JEE Advanced, jeeadv.ac.in, to check their results. The provisional answer key for JEE Advanced was released on September 3, 2022. Candidates had time till September 4, 2022, to raise their objections. The final answer key has been released after resolving all the issues raised by the candidates. The result has been prepared on the basis of JEE Advanced 2022 final answer key. The final answer key and merit list have been released alongside the JEE advanced 2022 results, whereas the marks vs ranks 2022 analysis will be released later. The ranks will be valid for the academic session of 2022–2023. As per the schedule released, the tentative seat allocation will begin on September 12, 2022. A total of 6 rounds will be conducted in JoSAA counselling. Candidates will get three options: either to free, float or slide the seat allotment option offered by the authorities. The JEE Advanced result consists of details like JEE Advanced 2022 Roll Number, Candidate's Name, Date of Birth, Qualifying Status, etc. Candidates require login credentials in order to access the results. How to check the JEE Advanced 2022 result?

  1. The result is available on the official website site of JEE Advanced, jeeadv.ac.in.
  2. On the homepage, click on the link that reads “JEE Advanced 2022 Results.”
  3. Enter the required login credentials and then click on submit.
  4. Check all the details available on the result card, which will be displayed on the screen.
  5. Download it and save the result for future reference.
According to the data released, around 2.5 lakh candidates were eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2022, out of which only 1.56 lakh candidates appeared for the examination. The institute booked a total of 577 centres across 124 cities to conduct the examination. There are a total of 16,598 seats in all 23 IITs, out of which 1,567 have been reserved for female candidates, to promote gender diversity. There has been a marginal increase in the number of seats, as last year there were 16,232 seats.
