The result for Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh Counselling Round 5 Allotment Result has been prepared and is now available on the official website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in. Shortlisted candidates have time till 5 pm on October 3, 2022, to go to the district Help Centres and get their documents verified.

The registrations for the 5th round of JEECUP counselling began on September 28, 2022, and continued till September 30, 2022. As per the schedule released, registrations for the 6th round of seat allotment will commence from October 6, 2022. The deadline to apply for registration is October 8, 2022.

The JEECUP counselling consists of 8 rounds. Shortlisted candidates are advised to complete the admission process as soon as possible. Mentioned down below are steps that can be referred to while checking the result.

JEECUP 2022 Counselling Round 5: How to Check?

  1. In order to check the result, candidates need to visit the official website of JEECUP, jeecup.admissions.nic.in.
  2. Click on the relevant link to check the seat allotment result for round 5, which will be available on the homepage.
  3. Enter the required login credentials, namely, JEE Mains credentials.
  4. Check all the information available on the result card properly.
  5. Download it and take a printout for future reference.

The JEECUP seat allotment result is based on the cut-off list, the course for which the candidates have applied, the number of seats available, the category, and the merit. According to the guidelines released, each candidate will be allotted only one seat, even if he/she has applied for other courses in the same round.

JEECUP Counselling: What are the Freeze and Float Options?

  • Freeze: Candidates who are satisfied with the seats can select this option to confirm their seats.
  • Float: Those who are not satisfied with the seat that they have been allotted and want to get upgraded to preferred institutions can select this option. These candidates will be called for further rounds of counselling.

JEECUP counselling is conducted annually by the Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh in order to offer admission to polytechnic colleges in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who have successfully cleared the JEE Main examination are eligible to appear for this counselling process.
