JNU admission 2022 application forms released for undergraduate courses

Jawaharlal Nehru University has released the application forms for admission to undergraduate courses. Candidates require Common University Entrance Examination, CUET-UG login credentials in order to apply for admission.

JNU admission 2022: The much awaited wait has come to an end as Jawaharlal Nehru University has started inviting applications for undergraduate courses. Interested candidates can visit the official website, jnuee.jnu.ac.in, to submit their application forms.

Candidates require CUET-UG login credentials in order to access the application form. As per the guidelines released, candidates will be offered admission on the basis of scores secured in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG). Mentioned below are steps through which candidates can apply for admission to JNU.

  1. Visit the official website of JNU, jnu.ac.in.
  2. Click on the admission portal link that reads " Applications are invited for B.A (Hons) 1st year through CUET UG."
  3. A new page will open.
  4. Click on the new registration tab.
  5. Then register using your CUET-UG login credentials.
  6. Feed in the required information like personal details, contact details, etc.
  7. Upload a photo and a signature.
  8. Then check the information provided.
  9. Choose the preferred programme and then pay the application fee through online mode, i.e., through net banking, credit or debit card.
  10. Download the confirmation page and take a printout for future reference.

As per the official notification, candidates were required to opt for Section IA – English test (Code 101) and Section III – General test (501) for admission to JNU. Candidates who did not appear for both sections will not be considered for admission. Mentioned below is the list of courses provided by JNU:

The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the result for India’s second-most registered examination, CUET-UG, on September 16, 2022. This is the first time that central universities are using CUET-UG scores in order to offer admission to various courses provided by them.

The information mentioned in the official notification also states that the application fee for general category, EWS, and OBC candidates is Rs 250, whereas for SC, ST, and PWD candidates it is Rs 100. On the other hand, the application fee for foreign national candidates is Rs 2392.

Now that the CUET-PG scores have been announced, the university will start the registration process for admission to PG courses soon. Candidates are advised to keep a check on the official website for more updates.
