The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in Delhi will soon release applications for undergraduate admission. For the academic year of 2022–2023, the university will be conducting admissions through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2022. The application forms will be released on the official website of JNU, jnu.ac.in.
As per the information available on the official website, the university is currently processing the data of the candidates who appeared for the Common University Entrance Test, which has been received from the National Testing Agency. The steps to apply for JNU undergraduate admissions in 2022 are mentioned below.
What are the steps to apply for JNU UG admission 2022?
- Visit the official website of JNU, jnu.ac.in.
- Click on the admission portal link, which will be available on the homepage.
- Then click on the entrance application for Session 2021.
- Feed in the required information like personal details, contact details, etc.
- Upload a photo and a signature.
- Then check the information provided.
- Choose the preferred programme and then pay the application fee through online mode, i.e., through net banking, credit or debit card.
Candidates are advised to keep a check on the official website for updates. This will be the first time JNU will use CUET scores for admissions. Meanwhile, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) will use the CUET scores only for eight undergraduate programmes.
These undergraduate programmes also include BA (Hons) programmes in Sanskrit, Hindi, French & Francophone Studies, Spanish & Latin American Studies, Economics, and History, while the other two programmes are B.Sc Biotechnology and B.Voc (Solar Energy).
