Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has made a comeback in the news after declaring the result of Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSSL, Class 12) results for science and commerce streams. This time the board has declared the result of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination (SSLC, class 10) and class 12 for the Arts stream. As per the records released, the overall percentage for class 10 is 56.96%, whereas for class 12 Art stream students it is 81.17%.
Ramyank Nilabh Chakraborty from Don Bosco College has made the state proud as the candidate has topped in class 12 examination with 460 marks. The overall pass percentage for class 12 students is 86.89%, whereas for non-regular students it is 45.22%. Diya Sinha from Laban Bengalee Girl’ Higher Secondary school has made English the highest scored subject by clearing the exam with 93%. The student has passed with Ist Division.
The list of toppers is long in case of class 10 as 2 students, Menangmankhraw Kharkongor and Amebaaihunsha Kharbhih have secured the first position with 575 marks, following them are Rilaakor Lamare with 569 marks and Arghdeep Khosh with a close call of 568 marks who have secured 2nd and 3rd position respectively. A total of 32,678 students have cleared the examination. Last year the overall pass percentage for class 10 students was 52.9%.
The exam for class 10 commenced on March 24 and concluded on April 6, 2022, whereas for class 12 the exam commenced on March 25 and April 21, 2022. The result booklet along with the list of this year’s toppers is available on the official website, http://www.mbose.in/. There will be no physical display of results.
