NEET PG 2022 Counselling candidates eligible to change their nationality from Indian to NRI: MCC

Candidates have to mail the supporting documents to MCC by 13 September 2022. NEET PG 2022 Counselling In its latest notice, MCC has notified the NEET PG 2022 counselling candidates that candidates who are claiming to be of NRI nationality but were considered as Indian nationality by the MCC previously, can now change their nationality to NRI. Candidates have to send the relevant documents mentioned in the notice to MCC via email nri.adgmemcc1@gmail.com between 10 September 2022 (10:00 am) and 13 September 2022 to change their nationality. Candidates must make sure they send the mail within the prescribed time. Mails received after 13 September 2022 will not be considered. The move came after the candidates claimed to be eligible for NRI nationality as per the Supreme Court order dated 22 August 2017.

Documents to be sent via mail to MCC

Candidates have to upload the following documents in the mail:
  1. Filled up the form provided in Annexure-1 of the official notice of MCC.
  2. Supporting documents verifying that the candidate’s sponsorer is of NRI nationality (Passport or visa).
  3. If the sponsor of a candidate is NRI, then candidates have to produce a certificate depicting a relation with the sponsorer.
  4. A notarized affidavit, stating that the candidate’s course fees will be paid entirely by the sponsorer.
  5. Sponsor’s Embassy certificate
  6. NEET score card.
The first round of counselling is tentatively scheduled to start on 15 September 2022, the seat allotment result for which will be announced on 28 September 2022.
