NIHFW launches PGDM programmes in the distance learning mode

The NIHFW has announced various PGDM programmes in distance learning mode for its admission session 2022-23. NIHFW admissions 2022-23 The National Institute of Health and Family Welfare has announced various PGDM programs in distance learning mode for its 2022-23 admission session. The different Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programmes are namely Hospital Management (300 seats), Health & Family Welfare Management (100 seats), Health Promotion (150 seats), Public Health Nutrition (150 seats), Health Communication (150 seats), and Applied Epidemiology (150 seats). All medical and nonmedical graduates are eligible to apply for the above-mentioned courses. Candidates seeking admissions to all the mentioned courses need to go through the prospectus of each program. The application form is at the end of each prospectus along with the admission fees. Candidates have to fill up the application form and make a demand draft of fees and send it by post to the NIHFW distance learning center. The address is mentioned at the end of each prospectus. Candidates can visit the official website of NIHFW, nihfw.org, and click on the distance learning cell link to view and download the prospectus of each programme. The duration of each course is 15 months with the study material provided in the English language. Candidates will get three chances to appear for final examinations and can also opt for appearing in the Hindi language.

NIHFW PGDM DL programs eligibility criteria

  1. PGDM (Hospital Management): Candidates must be registered with respective medical councils and academically must have MBBS/MS/MD/BDS/MDS and B.Sc. Nursing degree. AYUSH Doctors are also eligible to apply. For MBBS candidates, 2 years experience is required, and 4 years for nursing graduates.
  2. PGDM (Applied Epidemiology): Candidates must be registered with the respective national council and academically must be Graduate in Science/Social Sciences, Master in Public Health, and Graduation in Epidemiology and Statistics.
  3. PGDM (Public Health Nutrition): Candidates must be registered with the respective national council. Medical graduates, B.Pharma, and graduates in Science/Social Sciences are eligible.
  4. PGDM (Health Communication): Candidates must be registered with the respective national council. Medical graduates, B.Sc. Nursing, General Nursing Midwifery, and Graduate in Science/ Social Science.
  5. PGDM (Health Promotion): Candidates must be registered with the respective medical council and academically must have MBBS/MS/MD/BDS/MDS and B.Sc Nursing degrees. AYUSH Doctors are also eligible to apply. Candidates must possess 5 years of experience.
  6. PGDM (Health & Family Welfare Management): Candidates must be registered with the respective national council and academically must have MBBS/MS/MD/BDS/MDS and B.ScNursing degrees. AYUSH Doctors are also eligible to apply. Candidates must possess 5 years of experience.
