The offer has been accepted on the consultation of University Grants Commission, which was earlier against this decision.
CUET 2022: Great news for the 19 candidates who could not appear for the CUET Phase 1 2022 examination, as the NTA has allowed the candidates to sit for the CUET-UG phase 2 of the examination. These 19 candidates were not able to appear for the examination due to last-minute changes in the examination centres.
The examination has been rescheduled and will be conducted during the phase 2 examination, which will commence from August 4, 2022. According to the information released, the NTA had to form a three-member panel on the request of 31 candidates who claimed that they could not appear for the examination due to change in the location. The panel was headed by a retired IIT-Delhi professor, a school teacher and a professor from Delhi University.
As per the information released, out of the 19 candidates who have been given permission to appear for the examination, 17 have been allotted Netaji Subhas University of Technology, Delhi as the exam centre. The exam centre was later changed to Delhi University’s north campus just before the day of the examination, i.e., July 14, 2022.
