NTA releases CUET UG 2022 Result; Result declared for more than 58.5 lakh candidates

The National Testing Agency has released the result of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2022. The final answer key has also been released along with the result.

CUET UG 2022 Exam Results: The results for India’s second most registered examination, the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2022, have been declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA). According to the data released, more than 58.5 lakh candidates applied for the examination to get admission to universities and colleges that are affiliated with CUET-UG.

According to the information released, English has the highest number of 95 percentile scorers, while physics has the lowest number of 95 percentile scorers. A total of 33,627 candidates have secured a 95 percentile in English, followed by 24,030 candidates in the general test. Then a total of 12,179 candidates secured the 95 percentile in chemistry and 11,942 in mathematics. Physics has the fewest candidates on the list, with 11,329 95 percentile scorers.

Candidates who appeared for the examination can now visit the official website, cuet.samarth.ac.in, in order to check their results. This was the first time that NTA conducted an entrance examination for admission to undergraduate courses provided by 90 universities that are affiliated with CUET-UG.

The examinations started on July 16, 2022, and continued till August 30, 2022. The agency had to conduct a re-examination for candidates who could not appear for the examination due to technical issues or some other valid reasons. The procedures for checking CUET Result 2022 are outlined below.

How can I check the CUET UG result 2022?

  1. Visit the official website: cuet.samarth.ac.in.
  2. Click on the ‘View CUET Result 2022' link, which will be available on the homepage.
  3. Then enter the required login credentials and click on submit.
  4. Check all the details mentioned in the CUET Result 2022.
  5. Download it and take a printout for future use.

Candidates had time till 5 pm on September 10 to raise objections to the provisional answer key, which was released on September 8, 2022. The final answer key has been released along with the result. Any objection raised on the final answer key won’t be entertained.

As per the data released, out of all the states, the highest number of applicants were from Uttar Pradesh. A total of 2,92,589 students from Uttar Pradesh appeared for the undergraduate entrance examination, followed by Delhi with a total of 1,86,405 candidates appearing for the examination. Meanwhile, only 583 candidates from Meghalaya attempted the examination.

The exam centres were located in 560 cities, out of which 547 were located in Indian cities and 13 were located in the following countries:

  • Sharjah
  • Singapore

Candidates must note that all 90 universities and colleges that are affiliated with CUET-UG will conduct their own admission process and counselling. Out of these 90 universities, only 14 ranked in the NIRF ranking 2022.
