Osmania University Hyderabad declares TS PGECET 2022 result; Counselling dates to be announced soon

Osmania University, Hyderabad, has declared the Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test. The results are available at pgecet.tsche.ac.in. Candidates require their login credentials to view the TS PGECET result 2022. As per the guidelines released, candidates who have secured 30 or more than 30 in their TS PGECET examination are eligible to appear for TS PGECET counselling 2022. Candidates must note that the examination conducting authority, Osmania University, which has taken responsibility on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education, has not yet released the schedule for TS PGECET counselling in 2022.

How to Download the TS PGECET 2022 Result

  1. The results are available at pgecet.tsche.ac.in.
  2. On the appearing homepage, click on the "Download rank card" link.
  3. Key in the required login details and click on submit.
  4. Check the details mentioned on the TS PGECET rank card 2022. They will be displayed on the screen.
  5. Download it and take a printout for future reference.

What is the eligibility criteria for TS PGECET counselling 2022?

Candidates who have qualified for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), are eligible to appear for TS PGECET counselling in 2022. The majority of the seats will be provided to candidates who have cleared the GATE 2022, while the remaining seats will be reserved for candidates who have successfully cleared the TS PGECET examination. As per the guidelines released, candidates who have secured 30 or more than 30 in their TS PGECET examination are eligible to appear for TS PGECET counselling 2022. They should be of Indian nationality and should belong to either the State of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh. Candidates will be required to verify themselves as local or non-local. According to the data released, a total of 7721 seats are available under the convener quota. A total of 17,628 candidates will be appearing for counselling in 2022, out of which 1,046 candidates have qualified for GATE and 16,582 have cleared PGECET. The counselling process consists of five stages, which are:
  • Registration
  • Payment of the fee
  • Document verification
  • Choice filling
  • Seat allotment
Separate counselling sessions will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates of GATE and TS PGECET. TS PGECET is a state-level examination which is conducted annually to offer admission to postgraduate courses in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, and Pharmacy (ME/M.Tech./M.Pharmacy/M.Arch).
