The YET 2022 exam is scheduled on 25 September 2022. The admit card issue date will be notified soon by the NTA. PM YASASVI entrance test 2022 In its latest notice, NTA has again extended the registration deadline for the PM YASASVI entrance test 2022 to 11 September 2022 (5:00 pm). The application correction window will be active from 12 September 2022 to 14 September 2022 (5:00 pm). Previously, NTA had extended the registration deadline to 5 September 2022(5:00 pm). The entrance test is scheduled to be held on 25 September 2022. Candidates can visit the official website of NTA, yet.nta.ac.in to register. The admit card issue date will be announced shortly.

How to register for the PM YASASVI entrance test 2022?

  1. Go to the official website of the NTA, yet.nta.ac.in.
  2. Click on the registration link and enter the required details.
  3. Your password and application number will be generated.
  4. Now click on the login tab and enter your credentials to log in.
  5. Enter your personal information, choice of the exam you wish to appear in, and choice of exam centres.
  6. Upload your scanned photograph, signature, and certificates as per the instructions provided in the information bulletin.
  7. Now click on submit.
  8. Take a printout of your application form for future reference.

Scheme and pattern of PM YASASVI entrance test 2022

The Yasasvi Entrance Test (YET) 2022 exam will be conducted in online mode and objective type of questions will be asked. The medium of the question paper will be bilingual i.e. English and Hindi. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. In the exam questions will be asked from Mathematics (30 questions), Science (20 questions), Social Science (25 questions), and General Awareness/Knowledge (25 questions). Each question will carry 4 marks and the total marks will be 400. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

Eligibility for PM YASASVI entrance test 2022

Candidates have to fulfil the following eligibility criteria to become eligible for taking up YET 2022:
  1. Candidates must be Indian citizens.
  2. Candidates must belong to EBC, OBC, and DNT categories.
  3. Candidates must be studying in identified top-class schools.
  4. Candidates must have passed class 8 or class 10 exams.
  5. The annual income of the candidate’s guardians shouldn’t exceed Rs 2.5 lakhs.
  6. Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply.

About the PM YASASVI scheme

The “PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India for Obcs and Others (PM –Yasasvi)” is a scheme for EBCs, OBCs, and DNTs. It is a Central Government scheme to provide top-class school education to EBCs, OBCs, and DNTs. The scholarships will be provided by the State Government to the candidates who score well in the YET 2022 exam.
