Registrations for UPSC Engineering Services 2023 preliminary exam to close on 4 Oct, 2022; Exam on 19 Feb, 2023

The Union Public Service Commission, UPSC will conclude the registration for UPSC Engineering Services 2023 preliminary examination on October 4, 2022. Candidates will receive the admit card 15-20 days prior to the examination.

UPSC Engineering Services 2023: The Union Public Service Commission, UPSC, will be closing the registration portal for the UPSC Engineering Services 2023 preliminary examination on October 4, 2022. Interested candidates can visit the official website, upsc.gov.in, in order to apply for the examination.

The commission is accepting the application forms for the examination, which has been scheduled to be conducted on February 19, 2023. According to the guidelines released by the commission, candidates require details mentioned in the Photo ID Card ( Aadhaar Card/Voter Card/PAN Card/Passport/Driving Licence) while applying for the examination.

According to the schedule which was released earlier, the examination admit card will be 15 or 20 days prior to the tentative date to apply for the examination. The steps to apply for the examination are mentioned below.

UPSC Engineering Services 2023: How to Apply

  1. The application forms for the recruitment drive are available on the official website, upsc.gov.in.
  2. Candidates need to click on the link that reads "Engineering Services Examination 2023," which will be available on the homepage.
  3. Then candidates will be redirected to a page on which the link for the UPSC ESE application will be available.
  4. Click on the link and register.
  5. Then fill in the required information and pay the application fee.
  6. Check all the details provided and submit the application form.
  7. Download the confirmation page and take a printout for more details.

According to the information mentioned in the official notification, the commission aims at recruiting a total of 327 through this recruitment drive. Out of these 327 seats, 11 have been reserved for persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD). According to the data, there are 7 vacancies for Locomotor Disability, which includes Leprosy Cure, Dwarfism, Acid Attack victims, and Muscular Dystrophy; 2 vacancies for Hard of Hearing; 1 vacancy for Specific Learning Disability, and 1 vacancy for Multiple Disability.
