The guidelines released by the examination conducting body clearly state that candidates require a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university in order to apply for posts offered by SBI . Candidates with an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) and qualifications like medical, engineering, Chartered Accountant, and cost accountant are also eligible to apply for the examination.
Apart from this, candidates also require work experience (post essential academic qualification) of a minimum of 2 years to apply for the post. The work experience can be of an officer in any scheduled commercial bank or regional rural bank whose name is mentioned in the second schedule of a banker’s bank, i.e., the Reserve Bank of India.
