State Bank of India (SBI) has released application forms for the post of Probationary Officer (PO) positions. The selection process consists of 3 tests: a preliminary exam, a main examination, and a psychometric test.
SBI PO Recruitment 2022: The State Bank of India (SBI) has issued a call for applications for Probationary Officer (PO) positions. Interested candidates can visit the careers portal of SBI at sbi.co.in or ibpsonline.ibps.in to apply.
Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria mentioned on the official website before applying. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill a total of 1673 PO vacancies, out of which 73 are for backlog posts and the remaining are regular. According to the schedule released, the last date to register is October 12, 2022. The application fee for general/EWS/OBC candidates is 750, while fees for SC/ST/PwBD candidates are waived.
As per the guidelines released, candidates who have a graduation degree in any discipline or any equivalent qualification recognised by the central government are eligible to apply for SBI PO recruitment 2022. Candidates who are in their final year/semester of graduation are also eligible to apply, but their candidature will be provisional. They will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before December 31, 2022, in case they get called for the interview.
The minimum age limit is 21 years, whereas the maximum age limit is 30 years. The selection process consists of 3 tests: a preliminary exam, a main examination, and a psychometric test. Candidates have to clear both the main exam and the psychometric test separately. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in these two examinations.
