SWAYAM 2022 semester exam dates announced; last date to register Aug 12

The NTA will be conducting SWAYAM semester exams on 29 and 30 August 2022. The registration for the exams to end on 12 August 2022.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the semester exam dates for SWAYAM 2022. The exam will be held on 29 and 30 August 2022. The registration for the exam will end on 12 August 2022 (5:00 pm). However, the fee payment window will close at 11:50 pm on 12 August 2022. The application correction window will be active from 13 August 2022 and will go on till 15 August 2022.
The exam will be held in two shifts. Shift 1 will be conducted from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, whereas shift 2 will be conducted from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
The SWAYAM 2022 exam will be conducted for 348 papers. The exam mode will be Computer Based for 31 papers where 100 MCQs will be asked, each carrying 1 mark. The duration of the exam will be 3 hours. For other 231 number of papers exam will be in online mode, where 50 MCQs will be asked, each carrying 2 marks. However, for rest 86 papers the exam will be conducted in hybrid mode(partly online, partly pen paper mode). No negative marking will be there.
Registration process for SWAYAM 2022
- Go to the NTA website, swayam.nta.ac.in.
- Click on the registration link at the bottom of the page.
- Log in by entering your maild ID and verify the OTP sent.
- Now, enter your personal details, education information, and upload your signature and photograph.
- Next select the course for which you want to give exam.
- Next select your exam center and exam date.
- Next add your course to the cart.
- Next click on “preview and checkout” tab.
- Next proceed for fee payment.
Eligibility for SWAYAM 2022
Candidates must meet the following criteria to appear for SWAYAM 2022 semester exams:
- Candidates must have registered for the January 2022 session of SWAYAM 2022.
- On the term end written exam and internal assessment exams conducted by the NTA, candidates must have obtained 40% marks.
