Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2022 Counselling registration begins

The registrations are going on for management quota and Government quota seats of MBBS and BDS. Only Tamil Nadu native candidates are eligible for admission. NEET UG 2022

The Department of Medical Education, Tamil Nadu started the registration process of counselling NEET UG 2022 qualified candidates on 22 September 2022. The process is going on for both management and Government quotas. The deadline for registration is 3 October 2022(5:00 pm). The rank list declaration will be notified soon. Candidates can visit the official website of DME, tnmedicalselection.net to register online.

The admissions are going on for MBBS and BDS courses offered by colleges across Tamil Nadu.

Eligibility criteria for management and Government quota seats in Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2022 Counselling

Candidates have to fulfil the following eligibility conditions before applying:
  1. The candidate’s age must be 17 years.
  2. Candidates must be a native of Tamil Nadu(Candidates who have appeared in NEET UG 2022 as a native of another state are not eligible).
  3. The candidate's NEET UG 2022 score must be at least the 50th percentile(General category) or 40th percentile(SC/ST/OBC category).
  4. Candidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually or have scored at least 50% marks aggregate in all subjects of class12th.

How to register for Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2022 Counselling?

  1. Go to the official website of DME, tnmedicalselection.net.
  2. On the drop-down menu of UG courses, click on the MBBS/BDS link.
  3. Now click on the “CLICK HERE TO APPLY FOR MBBS / BDS DEGREE COURSE 2022-2023 SESSION” link.
  4. Now click on the “online application” link for the management or Government quota.
  5. Click on the new registration link and enter the required details.
  6. Your login credentials will be generated, log in using that.
  7. Enter your personal details, educational details, NEET UG 2022 scores, choice of college along with the branch of study you wish to pursue, upload the required documents and make payment online.
  8. Take the printout of the filled-in application form.

Candidates must keep the hard copies of uploaded documents along with their NEET UG 2022 scorecard ready, as it will be needed during the admission process.
