The choice filling forms for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions have been released by the Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu. The tentative allotment result for round 1 will be declared on September 13, 2022. TNEA 2022 Counselling process TNEA 2022 Counselling process: The Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu, has started inviting candidates for the TNEA 2022 Counselling process. Round 1 of the counselling will conclude on September 12, 2022. Interested candidates can complete their choice form at the official online platform of TNEA, tneaonline.org. In the first round, the counselling is being conducted for general rank 1 to rank 14524. According to the schedule released, the Round 1 Tentative Allotment Result of the TNEA Counselling Process 2022 will be declared on September 13, 2022 before 10 a.m. The steps to fill out the choice filling form are mentioned below.

How to do the choice filling for TNEA 2022 Counselling?

  1. The application forms for choice filling are available on the official website, tneaonline.org.
  2. On the homepage, click on the login button.
  3. Then key in the required login details and click on submit.
  4. Fill out the selection form.
  5. Check all the details provided and then pay the required fee amount.
  6. Download the application form and take a printout if required.
According to the guidelines released, a 7.5% reservation will be given to candidates who studied at government schools. The schedule released states that the candidates will have time from September 13, 2022, till 5 p.m. on September 14, 2022, to confirm the tentative seats that will be allotted to them. The provisional allotment for candidates who have confirmed their seats and have to join college will be released on September 15, 2022. Candidates can start reporting to their respective colleges from September 15, 2022. The deadline to report to the college is 5 p.m. on September 22, 2022. On September 25, 2022, before 10 a.m., the provisional seat allotment result for upwardly opted candidates will be released. Candidates are advised to keep a check on the official website for the latest updates.
