TNEA Counseling Round 2 choice filling deadline today

Candidates who do not report to their allotted colleges after confirming their allotment will not be allowed to take part in upcoming rounds of counselling. TNEA Counselling 2022

Round 2 of TNEA Counselling 2022 began on 25 September 2022 and will be closed today, on 27 September 2022(7:00 pm). Candidates can register and fill in their choices within this window. As per the schedule, the tentative allotment results will be released on 28 September 2022. The candidates have to confirm their allotments between 28 September 2022 and 29 September 2022.

The provisional allotment results for candidates who have opted for “accept and join” options and tentative allotment results for candidates who opted for “accept and upward” option will be released on 30 September 2022. The “accept and join” option candidates have to report to their respective allotted colleges between 30 September 2022 and 10 October 2022, whereas “accept and upward” option candidates have to report to the TNEA facilitation centres on these dates.

The provisional allotment results for “accept and upward” opted candidates will be released on 13 October 2022.

What are Accept and join, Accept and upward options?

The “accept and join” option is for candidates who are satisfied with their allotments and wish to pursue admissions, whereas the “accept and upward” option is for the candidates who are not satisfied with their allotments but wish to wait for a higher allotment.

Registration and choice filling process for TNEA Counseling Round 2 choice filling

  1. Visit the official website of TNEA 2022, tneaonline.org.
  2. Log in with your credentials in the login link provided.
  3. Enter your details and upload the required documents.
  4. Fill in your choices and make the necessary registration payment.
  5. Once the tentative allotment results are published you can opt for the “accept and join” option or the “accept and upward” option as per your choice.

The candidates who have opted for the “accept and join” option and didn’t report or join the allotted college will not be allowed to take part in further counselling rounds.
