The Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has started the registration process for UP BTech 2022 counselling registration. The steps to fill the application forms are mentioned below for interested candidates. UP BTech 2022: Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), which was earlier known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University, has started inviting applicants for UP BTech counselling registration 2022. The registration for Uttar Pradesh Bachelor’s in Technology will be conducted in online mode. Candidates who’ve successfully cleared NTA’s Joint Entrance Examination, are eligible to appear for the counselling process.   According to the notification released, candidates have time till September 20, 2022, to submit their applications. Interested candidates can visit the official website of AKTU, uptac.admissions.nic.in, to apply for UP BTech 2022 counselling registration.   The UP Btech counselling process consists of five major steps, which are: submission of application; payment of fees; document verification; locking of choices, which is followed by seat allotment. UP BTech 2022: How to register for counselling?

  1. The application forms for UP Btech counselling are available at uptac.admissions.nic.in.
  2. After visiting the official website, click on the link that reads "New Registration."
  3. On the registration window, key in the required details to get registered on the website and make the counselling appointment by paying the fees.
  4. The website will also allocate login credentials.
  5. Key in the provided login credentials to move to the choice filling section.
  6. Fill in the choices and don’t forget to lock them.
  7. Check all the details before submitting the application form.
  8. Download it and take a printout for further reference.
 

UP BTech 2022: Documents required for verification round

Here’s a list of essential documents required for UP BTech counselling registration 2022:
  • Passing certificate and marksheet for classes 10 and 12
  • Class 10 and 12 passing certificates and mark sheets
  • Domicile certificate/Rural weightage certificate (if applicable)
  • JEEprincipal scorecard and admit card
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Medical certificate
  • character certificate
  • Income certificate (in the case of EWS candidates)
Frequently Asked Questions on UP BTech Counselling Process Is there any counselling participation fees? Yes, candidates need to submit an application submission fee of Rs 1000 (same for all the categories) to participate in the UP BTech 2022 counselling registration process. Candidates are advised to read all the guidelines available on the website before filling in the application form. How many colleges can I enlist during the choice filling round? There is no limit on the number of colleges one can fill in the choice between filling and locking round. After the document verification round, candidates will be free to enlist as many preferential colleges as possible. What happens if I am not satisfied with my seat allotment? In case candidates are not satisfied with the seat allotment conducted by the university, they can select either of the following three options:
  • Freeze: If a candidate is satisfied with the allotment made, he/she can select the freeze option.
  • Float: If a candidate is not satisfied with the seat allotment made, he/ she can select this option to appear in the next round of seat allotment.
  • Withdrawal: If a candidate is not satisfied with the allotment and wishes not to continue any further with the admission process, he/she can simply withdraw their application by selecting this option.
How much is the seat allotment fee? As per the guidelines released, in the case of the General & OBC Category, the seat acceptance fee is Rs 20,000, whereas in the case of the SC & ST Category, the acceptance fee is Rs 12,000. What is the UP BTech Counselling 2022 Spot Round? The spot round is a special admission round that is conducted in case some seats remain vacant after the seat allotment round is conducted. There are usually two rounds in a spot round. Candidates appearing for the spot round need to start the whole process of registration again.
