The registration process for the counselling will conclude on September 1, 2022. Steps to apply for the counselling process and details on counselling schedule are mentioned below.
WBJEE 2022 counselling: The counselling schedule for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations (WBJEE) has been released by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board. The registration process for the same is already underway, and will conclude on September 1, 2022. Candidates who have still not applied for WBJEE 2022 counselling registration process, can visit the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in, to submit their application forms.
WBJEE 2022 counselling: How to apply?
Candidates can refer to the steps below while applying for WBJEE 2022 counselling:
- The link to apply for counselling is available on the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in.
- Candidates need to click on the link that reads “WBJEE Counselling registration” which will be available on the homepage.
- The link will lead to a sign-in page.
- Candidates need to key in their login details on the sign-in page.
- Start filling the registration form via options which will be available on the portal.
- Check all the details and then make the payment.
- Submit the choices and download the application form for future reference.
*Candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs 500 which will not be refunded.
The notification, mentioning the WBJEE 2022 counselling schedule, states that the first round of WBJEE 2022 seat allotment will be conducted on September 7, 2022. Candidates will have time till September 12 till 6 pm, to make the fees payment, complete the document verification process and all the other formalities related to admission. The list for second allotment will be issued in the similar manner on September 15, 2022.
However, that’s not the end of the seat allotment schedule, an additional mop-up round has been planned which will begin on September 21, 2022. The result for this special round will be released on September 27. After the declaration of result candidates will have time till September 29, 2022 to complete the admission process which consists of fee payment and document verification.
According to the WBJEE results, which were declared on June 17, 2022, nearly 98.5% candidates successfully cleared the examinations. Candidates who studied in the schools affiliated with Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), dominated the list of top 10 students who cleared the examination with highest marks.
The WBJEE examination was conducted on April 30, 2022. A total of 277 examination centres were booked to conduct the examination, out of which 274 were located in West Bengal, two were located in Assam and one was located in Tripura. Out of the 1,14,013 candidates who registered for the examination, a total of 81,393 appeared for the examination.
