After 44 days of conclusion of the Uchcha Madhyamik Exams, the results of West Bengal class 12 have been declared by West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, WBCHSE today, 10 June 2022. The results were announced today in a press conference which was scheduled for 11 a.m , however the results were made available to the students only at 12 p.m onwards on the official website,wbresults.nic.in/ .
Out of 7 lakh students who had applied for WBCHSE Uchcha Madhyamik Pariksha which were conducted in April, Adisha Sharma has topped the WB HS Result 2022, following her Sayandeep Samanta from West Midnapore has secured second position. The list of students who have secured third position is long as 4 students have secured the same position: Rohin Sen from Kolkata, Sohom Das from Hooghly, Abhik Das West Burdwan, and Parichay Pari West Midnapore. The results have been declared for 56 subjects and nine vocational subjects.
The struggle was hard as 7,44,655 had registered for the exam, out of which 7,20,862 appeared for the exams and 6,36,875 have passed the WB HS Result 2022. The overall pass percentage for the batch of WBCHSE 2021-2022 is 88.44 percent. The merit list has been declared after 2 years. The Madhyamik was on hold for the past two years due to covid-19. Last year the result was obtained on the basis of internal assessment. A total of 272 students have secured a position in the merit list.

The results were announced just after 44 days of conclusion of the exam, which is the fastest record till date. Students had appeared for the exams after a long gap of two years.
