West Bengal State Eligibility Test 2023 Registration deadline extended to Sep 18

The exam will be conducted on 18 September 2022 and will consist of two papers. Paper-1 will be conducted from 10:30 am to 11:30 am and Paper-2 will be conducted from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm. WB SET 2023 Registration

The West Bengal College Service Commission has extended the deadline for the WB SET 2023 Registration to 18 September 2022 (12:00 midnight). Candidates can visit the official website of the commission, wbcsconline.in to register online. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on 8 January 2023.

Candidates have to pay a registration fee of Rs 1200 (General), 600 (OBC/EWS), and 300 (SC/ST/PwD/Transgender).

Eligibility criteria for WB SET 2023 Registration

Before registering, candidates have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
  1. Candidates must have scored 55%(General/EWS) or 50% (SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Transgender) marks in their master’s degree.
  2. Candidates awaiting the results of the final semester of their Master’s degree are also eligible to apply.

Step-by-step process of WB SET 2023 Registration

  1. Go to the official website of the WBCSC, wbcsconline.in.
  2. Click on the “Click here to apply Online Registration for STATE ELIGIBILITY TEST (ADVT. NO. 24/SET) (Extended till 18th September 2022 at 12 midnight)” link.
  3. A list of different recruitment advertisements will show up, click on the “apply now” link of the WB SET 2023 advertisement.
  4. The online application form will open up, where you have to enter your exam details, personal details, qualification details and upload the required documents.
  5. Now submit your application.
  6. In the payment portal make the required payment.
  7. Click on the apply tab.
  8. Now you will receive your login details in your mobile number and email ID.
  9. Take the printout of your application.
The exam will consist of two papers, papers 1 and 2. Each paper will have objective-type questions. Paper 1 will consist of 50 questions and its duration will be one hour. Paper 2 will consist of 100 questions and its duration will be two hours.
