NIOS Senior Secondary Course Group E

NIOS – National Institute of Open Schooling was established in 1989 with the primary objective of providing a world-class standard in education.

NIOS: The National Institute of Open Schooling provides an opportunity for all interested students by administering all the possible courses, detailed curriculum and study materials through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode. National Institute of Open Schooling helps students by providing all the required information, including the evaluation or grading system, assignments, projects, reference books, question paper patterns, etc.

Senior Secondary Course Group E

The senior secondary course is equivalent to Class 12.

In NIOS senior secondary course, students are allowed to choose any five subjects of their choice along with either one, or a maximum of two, languages from Group A. Therefore, the total number of subjects should not be less or more than seven. Each subject carries 100 marks and the pass percentage for each subject is 33 per cent.

In Group E, students are allowed to opt for only one subject.
