ICO Exam Date

ICO is a yearly exam held at the school level for eligible students who have a commerce background to demonstrate their abilities. The brightest students who demonstrate exceptional abilities will be recognised and given special consideration for various international and national programmes.

The SOF ICO is conducted in partnership with The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, a statutory body under an Act of Parliament, under the administrative control of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. We will discuss the ICO exam dates 2022-2023 in detail.

Important Dates

DATE ONE – 22 December 2022

DATE TWO – 24 January 2023

The SOF International Commerce Olympiad is a single-level exam.

The test is organised in the respective schools of the participants during school hours.

(i) The level 1 competition is a test of 60 minutes duration comprising 50 objective-type (multiple choice) questions for Classes 11 and 12.

(ii) The question paper consists of four sections:

Section – 1: Economics

Section – 2: Business Studies

Section – 3: Accountancy

Section – 4: Achievers Section

(iii) SOF ICO is conducted on two dates for Level 1. Each school may select a date for conducting the SOF ICO as per its convenience. There are separate question papers for each date of the exam. Change of date for conducting the SOF ICO is not permitted.

(iv) The medium of the test is English.

(v) CBSE, ICSE/ISC and State Board syllabi are followed for setting the test papers.

(vi) The exam is conducted during school hours.

Candidates must review the following criteria for applying to the SOF ICO 2022-2023 test.
Students in grades 11 and 12 are eligible to apply.
Candidates from any field, including humanities, science, commerce, and the arts, may apply.

The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) is a non-profit educational organisation known for hosting academic competitions and encouraging students to acquire a competitive spirit. SOF was founded to promote science, mathematics, computer education, English, general knowledge, and professional courses. Who is eligible to participate in the ICO Olympiads?

Students in grades 11 and 12 can participate in the SOF ICO. There are no further ICO exam eligibility requirements, such as passing with a minimum score. The SOF ICO test has only one level. Students from commerce and humanities, as well as science, are eligible for the ICO Olympiad.

When will the ICO results be announced?

The ICO results are announced within 8 weeks following the last examination date. The results are forwarded to the respective schools. Our website also publishes the results.

When will the results of the ICO be announced?

The results of the ICO are announced eight weeks after the examination date. The results are sent to the respective schools. The results of the Olympiad are also available on the official website.
