The IGKO Syllabus Class 7 increases students’ understanding and interest in the subject and current global events. A variety of exercises are used to cover each topic. Questions and answers, as well as explanations for the answers, are included in each activity. Students can expand their knowledge to respond to these questions. They can solve problems more effectively by using a different approach.

Class 1 to 10 IGKO Syllabus

The IGKO Syllabus is divided into four sections for each class, from first to tenth.

3rd section Life Skills Topics based on abilities for managing and living a better quality of life.

The Marking Scheme of IGKO Class 7

Class 1 to 4 has a different marking scheme from Classes 5 to 10. The marking structure of IGKO Class 7 is tabulated below.

Is it possible for a student who takes the IGKO exam to participate in other Olympiads, such as the IMO?

Yes, you can compete in numerous Olympiads simultaneously. The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) brings together six olympiads: NCO, IMO, NSO, IEO, ICO, and IGKO. If students plan to do so, they can take all six tests in a year if they match the qualifying requirements. All of these tests are held once a year on various dates so that students will have no trouble taking them all simultaneously.

What are the advantages of taking the IGKO exam or other Olympiads for a student?

Students can gain a lot by participating in the Olympiads. These olympiads take place on a global scale. SOF (IGKO’s organizational body) provides each student with a complete report titled Students Performance Report (SPR) that includes their poor and strong qualities and a comparison of student performance across tiers. Students have the opportunity to evaluate their performance on a variety of levels, including at school, in the community, in the state, country, and internationally.

What are the eligibility requirements for taking the IGKO exam? Is it possible for a student to participate independently?

The SOF (Science Olympiad Foundation) conducts the International General Knowledge Olympiad (IGKO) in affiliated schools, with more than ten students participating in the exam. The student must be in grades 1 to 10 and attend a school with a recognized Education Board like CBSE, ICSE, or any other state board.
However, a single candidate is not permitted to take the IGKO exam independently. Individuals will be registered only if they apply through their schools.
