Thousands of students take the INMO test, and only about 35 students are selected from around the world. The selected candidates are trained at the IMOTC (International Mathematical Olympiad Training Camp) after passing the INMO test. Six of the best candidates are selected to represent the country internationally. In this article, we will discuss the INMO exam date details.

Procedure for Selection
The India National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO) 2022 is the next step on the path to the International Mathematical Olympiad. Only 30 students will be chosen among the approximately 900 students taking the INMO 2022 exam, with an additional 5 female candidates. INMO 2022 will award merit certificates to the top performers.
Registration for INMO 2022
There is no formal registration procedure for the India National Mathematical Olympiad. Students who want to compete in INMO 2022 must first compete in the Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO) 2022 and qualify by finishing in the top 30 scorers in their region.
The RMO is organised by the three conducting agencies, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan(KVS), in 25 regions across the country.
INMO Exam Preparation Tips
- It is critical to improving students’ mathematical aptitude to achieve good INMO scores. To do this, one must work on strengthening their analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and logical reasoning abilities.
- When studying for INMO, in addition to the textbooks, one should read and practise from the books listed below in the topic-wise advice with important books.
- Solving prior years’ question papers is critical to exam achievement. It familiarises students with the question paper format, the types of questions asked, and the difficulty level of the questions.
