The Indian Olympiad Qualifier Exam in Junior Science is a three-hour exam held in collaboration with the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) and the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE). The International Science Olympiad programme begins with the Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Junior Science or IOQJS. The Indian National Olympiad (INO) and the National Standard Examination (NSE) are combined in the IOQJS, which the IAPT and HBCSE conduct as an association of two competitive examinations (NSE).

The IOQJS results will be posted on the official website of the Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education. Students can see their IOQJS results by visiting the Olympiad’s main website. The Indian National Olympiad and the National Standard Examination will be incorporated into the IOQJS. We will discuss the IOQJS Exam results in this article.
Result of IOQJS
The findings of the IOQJS Part I will decide whether the participants are eligible for the IOQJS Part II. Only students who scored over the cut-off in Part I will be evaluated in Part II of the IOQJS. In certain ways, IOQJS Part I serves as a preliminary examination for IOQJS Part II. The results of both portions will be available on the HBCSE’s official website in an online format. The Indian Association of Physics Teachers and the Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education will also post state-by-state cut-off lists on their own websites and the IOQJS results. For future reference, participants can access and download their IOQJS scores and certificates of participation.
Significance of IOQJS
The IOQJS is a nationally recognised competitive test that assesses students’ intellect and mastery of secondary school scientific themes. Candidates who satisfy the requirements of the Orientation and Selection Camps (OCSC) will be selected. Around 35 to 40 candidates are chosen at the OCSC level. The next step after the OCSC is the pre-departure camp. About 4 or 6 people are selected at this stage. The candidates are prepared for the Olympiad’s final round at the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, where they are taught by topic experts and mentors from all over the country. During the International Olympiad’s final stage, the candidates from the pre-departure camp are accompanied by a few mentors.
