Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha (MVPP)

The Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha (MVPP), for Class 9 students, was earlier known as the Junior Science Talent Search Exam (JSTSE). The Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha Scheme (MVPPS) is run by the Science Branch of the Directorate of Education, Delhi Government, every year in January, for students from recognised Delhi schools.

The Directorate of Education, NCT (National Capital Territory) of Delhi, will provide scholarships and certificates to eligible students. The minimum qualifying grades are 40% in General Knowledge and 40% in Science and Maths combined. This programme assists students in learning the fundamentals of Science, Mathematics, and General Awareness. Absolute clarity of concepts helps to promote their IQ and thinking abilities, as well as build strong foundations for career achievement.

Eligibility Criteria for Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha Exam

  • Students presently studying in Class 9 in Government Aided and Unaided, Recognised Private Schools, including the Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, School of MCD (Municipal Corporations), NDMC (New Delhi Municipal Council), DCB (Delhi Cantonment Board), etc., in the GNCT (Government of National Capital Territory) of Delhi
  • They must have secured 60% marks in Class 8 in the session 2022-2023, with 5% relaxation in marks for the students belonging to the SC/ST and PH categories.
