NCO Class 4 Syllabus

The National Competitive Exam (NCO) is a competitive exam for students studying in grades from 1 to 10. The examination is organised by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF). It is one of the most well-known olympiad assessments, emphasising computing and thinking skills in a manner comparable to past olympiad assessments. The National Cyber Olympiad is a cyber security competition for children in grades 1-10. The exam’s primary purpose is to increase young people’s knowledge of internet security and computer skills, as well as to provide students with a platform to acquire confidence and upgrade their skills by teaching them more about computers and information technology. Exam Pattern

The NCO test is divided into three parts.

  • The second section contains questions about computers, information technology, and technological advances.
  • The third section focuses on high-order thinking skills. The topic is the same as section II in every grade, but the level of difficulty varies and continues to rise.

The question paper includes a 60-minute test with 35 objective-type questions for classes 1 to 4 and 50 objective-type questions for classes 5 to 10.
