The National Cyber Olympiad is an annual competition open to students in Classes 1 to10. It provides a chance for students from a variety of disciplines to learn and test their abilities in order to improve their education. It has been held three times with great success, in 2009, 2011 and 2016. All students in Classes 1 to 10 are eligible to compete in the NCO or National Cyber Olympiad 2021-2022, regardless of their academic performance. From each school, a minimum of 5 students can register.

Overview of the Exam
The National Cyber Olympiad is a cyber security competition open to students in grades 1 to 10. The exam’s major goal is to promote understanding of internet security and computer abilities, as well as to give students a platform to learn more about computers and information technology. Students of different age groups, based on their classes, appear for the exam. A few of the examination’s goals are listed below.

Who is Eligible to Write the Examination?
The Science Olympiad Foundation determines who is eligible to take the SOF National Cyber Olympiad 2021-22 test. For SOF NCO 2021-22, each student must meet the mentioned eligibility requirements.
- The student must be enrolled in a SOF-approved school to be qualified for the NCO test.
- Children from grades 1 to 10 are eligible to compete in the National Cyber Olympiad.
- The student must have completed the entire application form and delivered it to the school officials, together with the fee, by the last date, which is 30 days before the test date.
NCO Result
The National Cyber Olympiad exam is usually held in the month of November or December every year. The results of the olympiad are declared within 8 weeks of each examination. The NCO results are sent to the schools. The results are also made available on the official website. The results of the exam every year are expected to be published by the end of March. NCO 2022 results were expected around March.
NCO Curriculum
The SOF NCO Olympiad follows the curricula of major educational boards, including CBSE, ICSE, state board, and others. The curriculum is designed on the syllabi of these boards, as well as considering the thinking capacity of the students. The core subjects of the exam are logical reasoning and mathematical ability, which are required in computer technology.
