NSEP Application Form

The National Standard Examination in Physics (NSEP) has a simple registration process that allows applicants from all around the country to take part in the test. Candidates can either register on their own or through education centres. The major goal of the NSEP test is to identify outstanding individuals who are interested in physics, and further provide them with a platform from which they may continue to excel in the subject.

On September 25, 2021, the IAPT (Indian Association of Physics Teachers) will begin the registration procedure for the IOQP. The deadline to register for the NSEP 2021-22 has been extended until October 31, 2021. Interested candidates may apply online at www.iapt.org.in. We have provided a detailed description of the NSEP Registration 2021-2022 in this article.

Steps to Register for the NSEP 2021-22

The NSEP or National Standard Examination in Physics 2021-22 registration procedure consists of two steps: registration and enrolment. Students can complete IOQP ( Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Physics) registration forms by following the procedures below:

Step 1: Go to the official registration website, reg.ioqexam.in.

Step 2: Select the registration option from the drop-down menu.

Step 3: Fill in the essential information on the student registration page and click ‘create OTP.’

Step 4: After completing the registration process, log in with your credentials and fill in all of the relevant information.

Step 5: Send in your documents and other information.

Step 6: At this point, you must submit the registration form.

Many students make blunders when registering for the NSEP exams. Before submitting the registration form, it is critical to provide the right information.

Students must correctly complete the IOQP form with the following information.

  • Name of the candidate
  • Class
  • Gender
  • Father’s Name/ Mother’s Name
  • DOP stands for Date of Birth.
  • Subject
  • Name and location of the school
  • Student’s mailing address

NSEP 2021-22 Registration Fee

In order to complete the NSEP registration 2022, students must pay the registration cost. This is a one-time cost, and students who qualify and advance will not be charged again until the final stage, the International Physics Olympiad. The fee will not be reimbursed after it has been paid.

  • Total Fees – Rs. 200/- per student per course is the NSEP Registration Fee
  • During the enrolling process, students must pay their registration costs online

NSEP Selection Process

The NSEP is the first stage of the selection process for the Indian National Science Olympiad (INO). And the following criteria are used to make the decision:

  • The student’s eligibility
  • Students’ merit scores in the qualifying examinations
  • Clause of proportional representation
  • The clause requiring a certain level of representation
  • Previous clause on International Representation
  • The clause requiring a minimum total number (maximum students for INO should be 300 only)
