BYJU’S announces ₹ 2 Crores cash reward for Neeraj Chopra and ₹ 1 Crore each for other individual Olympic medal winners at Tokyo 2020

8th August 2021, National: 7th August 2021 is forever etched in the history of Indian sports with it’s first ever gold in athletics by Neeraj Chopra. With a total of 7 medals, Team India gave it’s best ever Olympics performance at the Tokyo 2020 event.

BYJU’S is an ardent supporter of sports in the country. Making further strides into encouraging players across sports disciplines, the company has announced ₹2 crores for Neeraj Chopra and ₹1 crore each for Mirabai Chanu, Ravi Kumar Dahiya, Lovlina Borgohain, PV Sindhu and Bajrang Punia.

The accomplishments and the stellar achievement of India’s sports heroes at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics have been nothing but inspirational, despite the challenges posed by COVID-19 lockdown in 2020-2021.
