Punjab: Accusation laid on three teachers of helping students in the exams leads to the cancellation of class 10 punjab school education board exams for students of Government Senior Secondary School, Ayali Khurd, Punjab till further notice.
The reports of accusation have been filed by Centre Superintendent Vinod Kumar. According to him the teachers were trying to help the student and upon being interrogated, the teachers tried to create a ruckus along with the students.
Yog Raj Sharma, the Chairman of PSEB said that he will initiate an inquiry and appropriate action will be taken against the accusers as per media reports.
The Local Education Department has already inquired about the whole case. The Punjab Board has issued notices to Ludhiana District Education Officer, Centre Controller, Observer and DEO (Secondary) and the three accused teachers.
A total of 252 students will have to give the PSEB class 10 exam again. The dates of the exam will soon be announced on the official website and tentative dates given are 25 or 27 May 2022. The students have been advised to check the official website www.pseb.ac.in/en for further information.
