PTU Counselling 2022

The authority to manage the centralised online counselling for admission to the various courses is set by IKGPTU. There will be two rounds of counselling at the organisation level. Candidates must first register for counselling before being allowed to participate in the choice-filling phase. For different courses, registration for counselling and payment of the counselling fee will begin in June 2023 (tentative). The 10+2 merit, JEE Main score, and NATA score will be used to evaluate eligibility for the counselling process.

I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) will conduct Punjab B.Tech 2023 counselling on its official website. Candidates who have chosen the course must report to the designated colleges before the deadline. The Punjab B.Tech 2023 seat allocation result will be made available separately for applicants who qualified for JEE Main and Class 12. Registration for PTU B.Tech counselling will be based on whether they are applying through Grade 12 or JEE Main. Online registration for the PTU B.Tech admission counselling will be based on Class 12 marks.

The candidates must register for the courses in which they want admission directly through the college website. 85% of seats are reserved for the students within the state, and 15% of seats will be opened to candidates from outside the state.

For the Session 2023–2024, the following courses are offered at the campuses and affiliated colleges of IKGPTU Jalandhar, MRSPTU Bathinda, and PAU Ludhiana, and IKGPTU has been designated as a competent authority to provide centralised online counselling:

How to Enter the Centralised Online Counselling Process?

• The URL for the link to centralised online counselling is https://ptu.ac.in/admissions/ on the IKGPTU website, while a direct link is provided on the NIC’s counselling website, http://www.ptuadmissions.nic.in
• The candidate must confirm their eligibility following the informational brochure and government notifications available on the university website at https://www.ptu.ac.in/admissions/.
• Candidates are encouraged to frequently check the official website for updates regarding centralised online counselling.

Counselling Fee Payment

Each participating candidate must pay a counselling fee of Rs. 2,000 (non-refundable) for each course in the centralised online counselling programme. Students can apply for counselling for two separate courses (for both B.Tech and B.Arch courses, for example), then they have to pay a total of Rs. 4,000 (Rs. 2,000 for each course, separately) whenever an applicant submits counselling fees for the first round of counselling and wants to take part in the second round without paying the counselling fees again after receiving counselling.

PTU Admission 2023

Once the PTU Counselling 2023 procedure is done, they need to report to the institutions to confirm their admission. As per the announced schedule, the institution will examine the candidates’ supporting documents. The candidate’s admission will be revoked if any documents are discovered to be incorrect. Candidates must pay the college fee and confirm their admission after the verification of their documents. The certificate verification and the required fee payment are mandatory for all candidates..
