The empirical formula of the compound can be calculated as follows:

Na 0.433 g 23 43.323=1.88 1.880.95=2
O 0.453 g 16 45.316=2.83 2.830.95=3
C 0.114 g 12 11.412=0.95 0.950.95=1

Hence, the empirical formula of the compound is Na2CO3.

Therefore, empirical formula mass
= (2 × 23) + (12 × 1) + (3 × 16)
