1) Electropositivity is the property of elements by which they form positive ions by losing electrons, example - metals .
The bonding of two highly electropositive elements is difficult. This is because both of them will have a very high tendency to lose electrons ie both will not have a tendency to gain electrons. For a bond to be formed, electrons must be lost and gained.
But in bonding of two elements, even if they are both electropositive, the element having lesser electropositivity will gain the electron released by the element with higher electropositivity.
