The correct option is A A
The addition of limestone (CaCO3) in hydrochloric acid (HCl) results in the formation of carbon dioxide, which when passed through limewater (Ca(OH)2) gives a milky solution. The reaction below will be occuring in all three test tubes.

CaCO3(s) + 2HCl(aq) CaCl2(aq)+ CO2(g) + H2O(l)

However, the solution in test tube A only turns milky white due to the formation of calcium carbonate as shown below.

Ca(OH)2(aq) + CO2(g) CaCO3(s) + H2O(l) milky solution

CO2 neither turns water nor HCl milky white.
