200 mL mixture of NaOH and Na2CO3 was first titrated with phenolpthalein and 17.5 mL of HCl with normality 0.10 N was required for end point. After this, methyl orange was added and 2.5 mL of same HCl was again required for next end point. Find out the amounts of NaOH and Na2CO3 in the mixture.

NaOH+Na2CO3
x mole y mole
x+y=110×17.5=1.75....(1)
y=0.25..........(2)

x=1.5,y=0.25 mole
NaOH=1.5×401000gm=0.06gm
Na2CO3=0.25×1061000=0.0265gm
