Solution

The correct option is A

We need to split up ₹27 in terms of ₹5 and ₹2 coins.

6 coins of ₹2 = 6 x ₹2 = ₹12

To find out how many coins of ₹5 we need, we first subtract ₹12 from ₹27 .

₹27 - ₹12 = 15

We need this ₹15 in terms of ₹5 coins. To find the number of ₹5 coins, we divide 15 by 5.

We need 155=3 coins of ₹5.

i.e., ₹27 = 3 coins of ₹5 + 6 coins of ₹2
