  • The fibres which are obtained naturally from plants and animals are known as natural fibres while other fibres which are made chemically or man made are called Synthetic fibres.
  • Acrylic, polyester and nylon are synthetic fibres that are synthesized with the help of chemicals in factories whereas jute and cotton are natural fibres obtained from plants and wool and silk are natural fibres obtained from animals.
