What are the cells present in a developed embryo sac of angiosperms?
Answer: A developed embryo sac contains seven cells.
  • Three cells are present at the micropylar end in the form of a group and constitute the egg apparatus. In these, one is egg cell and the other two are synergids.
  • Three cells are present at the chalazal end. These are called the antipodal cells
  • A large central cell, having two polar nuclei.
