The correct option is D 4500N
Given,

Mass of cart, m=1500kg

Acceleration, a=1m/s2

So, force acting on the cart =m×a=1500N

Normal reaction, N=1500×10=15000N

Friction force =μN

Coefficient of friction, μ=0.2

So, frictional force =0.2×15000=3000N

Hence, the force exerted by the horse =3000+1500=4500N
